RULES OF PROCEDURE FOR THE EDUCATIONAL COMMITTEE FOR NURSING TRAINERS
1. Role, goals
a. The Educational Committee of the Icelandic Physical Therapists Association shall be responsible for the operation of the association's educational activities.
b. The Education Committee shall promote the continuing education and educational work of physiotherapists by:

2. Members of the Education Committee
a. The educational committee shall consist of 6-8 physiotherapists (maximum 5 from the capital area,
minimum 1 from the regional chapter) who are elected at the annual meeting of the Icelandic Association of Physiotherapists.

3. Implementation of courses
a. Individuals must apply for participation in their own name.
b. Applications for courses must be submitted to the education committee electronically before the advertised deadline.

c. The application deadline shall normally expire 4 weeks before the course begins, although exceptions shall be made if there are available places on the course.

e. The participation fee for an individual who is not a member of FS is up to 30% higher than
members. However, one fee shall apply to all participants when a course is held in
collaboration with other professional associations and/or professions.
f. Efforts should be made to include refreshments in the price if the course is a full day or longer.
g. If an individual cancels participation eight weeks before a course, they can receive a 65% refund of the course fee, 35% of the course fee is considered a confirmation fee and is non-refundable.
h. If participation in a course needs to be limited, the payment schedule must be taken into account.

4. Implementation of educational sessions/learning strategies
a. Educational meetings/study conferences shall be open to all members of the Icelandic Association of Physical Therapists.
b. Participation is unlimited, as long as space permits.
5. Operations / accounts
a. The treasurer of the education committee is responsible for overseeing the committee's funds.
b. Course fee shall be based on 75% participation, (taking into account the teacher's salary)

c. Accounting must be kept (in accordance with the rules of the Icelandic Association of Physiotherapists). Annual accounts must be submitted to

d. Light refreshments may be offered at meetings of the Education Committee.
e. The work day of the Educational Committee of the Icelandic Association of Physical Therapists shall be held annually and may be invited
up for dinner for the education committee
