We'll be covering a wide range of chronic conditions, including Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, patellar tendinopathy, great trochanteric pain syndrome, tennis elbow, and calcification tendinopathy of the shoulder. We'll also be discussing the latest evidence on shockwave mechanisms and effectiveness, so you'll be up to date on the most current research.
Day two of the course will focus on more advanced conditions, such as proximal ITB syndrome, proximal hamstrings tendinopathy and morton's neuroma. The Course will provide you with the knowledge and techniques you need to effectively treat these more complex conditions.
With plenty of time for Q&A and discussion, you'll be able to ask any specific questions you have about shockwave therapy or related topics.

By the end of this two-day course, participants will be able to:
- Deepen their understanding of shockwave therapy mechanisms and effectiveness
- Expand their knowledge of how to use shockwave therapy for common chronic conditions such as Achilles tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, patellar tendinopathy, great trochanteric pain syndrome, tennis elbow, and shoulder calcification
- Apply practical experience gained during the course to effectively treat patients with these conditions using shockwave therapy
- Understand and apply the latest evidence-based research on shockwave therapy in their practice
- Develop the skills and techniques needed to effectively treat advanced conditions such as proximal ITB syndrome and hamstrings tendinopathy • Demonstrate an ability to ask specific questions related to shockwave therapy or related topics and engage in discussion and Q&A with instructors and peers.

The course will begin at 9am and end at approximately 4.30-5 pm on both days. There will be a break around midday for lunch and short coffee breaks.

- 10.45: Shockwave in Foot and Ankle Pathologies
- Demo: SWT in Plantar, Achilles, Morton, etc
- Lunch at 12.45
- 1.45pm- Overview of SWT in Lower Limb Tendinopathy
- 2.30pm- Application in Hip and Knee Pathologies
- 3.30pm- Demo (SWT in Patellar tendon, Insertional Hamstrings)
- 4.30pm - Group Discussion of Complex Cases
- 5pm - Finish
Day 2:
- 9 am - Introduction to Radial SWT in Myofascial treatment
- 9.45-10.30am – Role of Transmitter and Fascial treatment
- Break
- 10.45: Shockwave in Calcific Tendinopathy
- Demo: SWT in Shoulder (Calcific, Frozen Shoulder)
- Lunch at 12.45
- 1.45pm- Spinal Indications (Facet Joint)
- 2.30pm- Demo (Facet, Tennis, Golfers and Biceps Tendon)
- 3.30pm - Dealing with Non-responders
- 4.00pm – Integrating with Rehab
- 4.30pm - Finish
About the Tutor:
Benoy qualified as a physiotherapist in 1998 and has worked extensively in hospital, private practice and sporting settings within the UK, Asia and the Middle East. Having specialised in musculoskeletal care, he works in private practice and as Advanced Physiotherapist for the NHS. Benoy has completed his masters in advanced physiotherapy from the University of Hertfordshire in 2014 and was the national winner for the highest scoring candidate of the society of orthopaedic medicine registration examination and was the recipient of Saunders prize for 2011.
Clinically, he deals with complex patients referred by GPs and for a second opinion on failed patients by other therapists. Benoy loves a challenge, and enjoys treating hip and groin patients and overuse running injuries. He is passionate about application of research in clinical practice and is involved in regular teaching nationwide on multiple lower limb courses.
He has been using Shockwave for the last 10 years and he is the head of Shockwave Training for Venn health care (STORZ Distributor) in the UK. He is also the lead Editor of the international book for therapists ‘Hip and Knee Pain Disorders'. He has taught in more than 15 countries and to more than 2000 therapists in person.
