Unnur Pétursdóttir, formaður FS mun taka sæti í stjórn Evrópudeildar sjúkraþjálfara nú í sumar
Formaður FS, Unnur Pétursdóttir, mun taka sæti í stjórn Evrópudeildar sjúkraþjálfara nú í sumar. Unnur hefur verið varamaður um árabil en nú háttar svo til að gjaldkeri deildarinnar þarf að stíga til hliða af heilsufarsástæðum. Unnur mun því taka við stöðu gjaldkera stjórnarinnar þann 1. júlí nk. Af þeim sökum mun Ísland ekki verða skoðunarmenn reikninga deildarinnar næstu tvö árin, eins og kynnt var á síðasta aðalfundi. Haldinn verður stuttur auka-aðalfundur Evrópudeildarinnar í tengslum við aðalfund WCPT í Genf í maí, þar sem kynnt verða formlega skipti á stjórnarmönum og skipað nýtt félag/land sem skoðunarmenn reikninga deildarinnar.

Resignation of Roland Paillex, Treasurer from the Executive Committee of the European Region
It is with deep regret we announce the resignation of Roland Paillex as Treasurer of the European Region WCPT due to health reasons.
We wish Roland well and acknowledge our deepest gratitude for his dedication and the great job he accomplished as Treasurer of the Region. These past years he has shown an extraordinary capacity and devotion to the role which will be difficult to match. Roland leaves the European Region a better organisation in terms of improved clarity of accountability and a better financial system for future Treasurers.
As a consequence of this resignation, Unnur Pétursdóttir, the First Alternate Executive Committee member, will take over the position of Treasurer for the remaining elected period, after a handover period, on 1st July. We welcome Unnur to the position and look forward to working with her.
